A Chinese tenor from Hong Kong with a distinguished international career over 30 years, Warren Mok holds a Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music in New York City and is one of the China’s Three Tenors. He is currently the artistic director of Opera Hong Kong, Fujian Grand Theatre & Zhuahi Hua Fa Grandn Theatre. Also He has been dedicated in the music education with the young generation, appearing as Visiting Professor at Beijing University Opera Academy, Xinan University and Shanghai Music Conservatory, as well as Distinguished Professor at South China Normal University. Warren Mok was presented with the Medal of Honour from the Hong Kong Government in 2011 and World Outstanding Chinese Award in 2010. And in 2008, he was also awarded Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella della Solidarietà Italiana (Knight of the Star of Solidarity of Italy) from the Government of Italy, Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) from the French Government. All awards honour his contribution to bring the cultural exchanges between Hong Kong, Italy, France and China. In 2015 he was also awarded the World Ten Outstanding Cantonese. In 2016 he received the Most Outstanding Chinese Award in Beijing.

He has performed in many festivals including Vienna, Wiesbaden, Athens, Martina Franca (Italy), Arles (France), Track (Lithuania), Poland, New Zealand, Seoul Arts Centre, Beijing Music Festival, Shanghai International Arts Festival, Singapore Arts Festival, Hong Kong, Macau International Music Festival, and Taiwan. His operatic repertoire exceeds 60 roles including Calaf (Turandot), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Don Jose (Carmen), Riccardo (Masked Ball), Radames (Aïda), Duke (Rigoletto), Alfredo (La Traviata), Don Carlos, Romeo, Faust, Werther, and many others.

In recent years, Mok has been very active in Asia, not only as a singer, but also as a producer. He has been the Artistic Director for Macau International Music Festival from 2000 and has brought the festival to a world-class high standard. He is the Founder and Artistic Director of Opera Hong Kong. He has produced many great performances of operas and concerts in Macau and Hong Kong and won praise from the public and critics alike. He is an advisor for the Shanghai Opera House, Shanghai Symphony, China National Opera House, Beijing Music Festival. He produced and sang in Roméo et Juliette, Carmen, La Bohème, Otello, Magic Flute, La Traviata, Madame Butterfly, and in Shanghai International Arts Festival and Beijing Music Festival. Most recently he has appeared frequently in the National Centre for Performing Arts in Beijing. He is also an active promoter of western operas and music in China and Asia. The Guardian, a London newspaper, observed that “His technique is rock solid, with beautiful even timbre, and an engaging enthusiasm on stage; ringing top notes were attacked and held in rock-like Pavarotti vein.” And George Loomis, a commentator from Opera Magazine, described his performance the late as follows: “Warren Mok seems to have modeled his performance on that of La Scala’s Raoul, Franco Corelli, and comes amazingly close to the ideal. Suffice it to say that Mok has a ringing, rather baritonal timbre and pours forth tone generously. His Raoul is a visceral experience not least for its secure, expansive high notes…”

A Young Chinese soprano who actively singing in Europe, She has been awarded to Top Ten Sopranos in China by CCTV, the most important national Television in China, appearing concerts on TV broadcasting worldwide. She is the first Chinese graduated with a master degree from Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan. While in Europe She has sung many roles such as Liu in Turandot, Nedda in Pagliacci, Micaela in Carmen, Mimi in La Boheme, Violetta in La traviata,Adina in L’Elisir d’amore , in opera houses in Italy, France, Australia, United States, Israel, Latvian , Slovenia, Romania,Serbian etc..
In 2017, in February she will make her debut as Mimi in La Boheme in Serbian National Opera. At the same period she will sing Micaele in Carmen there. In April, with Macedonian Opera & Ballet she will sing Liu in Turandot. She has been invited as guest soprano to sing with Singapoor Lyric Opera in Esplanade Concert Hall, in November 2016. She will portrait Mimi in la Boheme with China National Opera in Fujian Grand Theater. She did several concerts with China National Opera Ochestra during 2017 New Year in CCTV.
In 2016, in June She made her concert debut with Sydney Lyric Symphony at Sydney Opera House with great success. She performed with world famous pianist Lang Lang in a special concert for a world premier piece. She has sung with Czech Philharmonic in a Central Fortress Concert. She appeared on CCTV & Hunan TV for the Chinese New Year Events. She sing with Orquestra Filarmónica de la Esperanza in Lima, Peru. She performed Liu in Turandot with Fujian Grand Theatre.
In 2015, she had been invited by Melbourne Symphony Orchestra to sing in a concert in Melbourne, Australia. She made her debut as Violetta in La traviata in Pompei Festival, Italy. She sang Musetta in La Boheme at Teatro Bellini in Catania ; Micaela in Carmen in Taormina Festival in Sicily, Italy. She performed as soloist in Mahler’s fourth Symphony with ZheJiang Symphony , China.
In 2014, She sang a concert in Atlanta Symphony Hall in USA. She sang Liu in Turandot in Opéra- Théâtre de Metz, France. She made her debut as Nedda in Pagliacci with Israel Haifa Symphony in Israel. She was invited by Maestro Tan dun, as the only one soprano appeared in the concert with the National Symphony Orchestra in Beijing Summer Festival, China.
In 2013, She sang the role of Liu in Turandot in Puccini Festival in Torre de Lago ,Italy. She portrayed the role of Micaela in Carmen at Slovenia National Theatre Maribor, then again sang the role of Adina in L’Elisir d’amore at Latvian National Opera. She sang in a concert presented by Puccini Foundation at Sala Puccini Hall in Milan. She sang in a Verdi Gala Concert in Riga Opera Festival, Latvia. She appeared in numerous concerts in Italy & China.
In 2012, She sang the role of Adina in L’Elisir d’amore at Slovenia National Theatre Maribor. She appeared in a concert at the Latvian National Opera. She sang a concert in The Venetian Theatre in Macau with China National Symphony & China’s Three Tenors receiving great reviews. She sang the role of Serpina in La Serva Padrona in Macau International Music Festival, received rave review from Financial Times “For Wang Bing Bing, a Shanghai-trained soprano based in Milan and the young star of Pergolesi’s La serva padrona last weekend at the Macau International Music Festival, that was probably a good thing: little else was standing in her way. Wang thoroughly charmed the audience as well. Once her firm, flexible soprano found its sharp contrast,…Wang moved on to physical comedy.”
In Milan, 2014, she had been chosen by SKY TV as the first opera singer appeared in the famous TV program “X FACTOR”, the video clip in Youtube has been viewed by over 2.1 million viewers worldwide. She was interviewed by Italian TV Rai 1, in the famous program “Chiambretti Music Show” and performed with LAURA PAUSINI on TV which was broadcast throughout Europe。 In 2010 she entered the First Savonlinna Opera Festival Competition in Finland and competed with several hundred participants worldwide, being the only Chinese soprano who had reached the final of 12 singers. The Newspapers claimed her “ A young & promising future opera Diva.” In 2011,. She participated in the Master Classes of Mirella Freni & Mariella Devia. At age 21, she made her debut at the Romanian Brasov Opera singing the role of Micaela in Carmen. performed in Montreal Music Hall ,Canada.
